Recently I visitied London with my family, my fiancee, daughter of two and mother of eighty. As we stayed in Kensington Gardens Square in Bayswater, we frequented the north west corner of Hyde Park and the excellent playground there.

After a few days of sight seeing and walking around, I had a few hours to spend with my x100s. First, I moved up to Paddington Station, this architecturally interesting place, buzzling with life and people. After that I slowly moved down the streets back towards Bayswater, passing through parts of Notting Hill.

It was great shooting in a really big city like London. Stockholm is interesting too (especially for me, living in a quite small city), but London has more interesting street scenery, odd looking people and things happening.

Two weekends ago, me and Sven Rikner spent some time in Stockholm, carrying our cameras around. A visit to the always excellent Fotografiska museum is highly recommended, the Henri Cartier-Bresson show is quite a treat.

Not trying to be anything like the father of street photography, we roamed the streets for quite some time. I really got a chance to try out my new Fujifilm x100s for a longer period of time, fiddling with the settings and experimenting. Great fun.

From the summit of Öby kulle, 40 meters up in the air, the view is spectacular. Oh well, its not the Himalaya, but still. Overlooking typical swedish countryside, I feel the silence of nature surround me.

Every spring the city of Örebro clears the stream Svartån from lost and probably stolen bikes.

…my new compnion that follow me whereever I go. Currently tucked away in my bag protected by a small yellow silk travel bag, quite disgraceful. Will be upgraded soon to something more suitable.

In its performance it is really awesome though. Quite as a whisper, good looking as a (Leica?).

Just completed my first walk with the brand new Fujifilm x100s, and I must say I am deeply impressed. Image quality and noise level is better than I had hoped for, the new sensor is doing a fantastic job. The camera itself is light, compact and ridiculously quiet. It is also nice and easy to handle and it looks awesome. I think I just found my new best friend.
